Former Plateau United striker, Akila Jesse has joined Slovakian too flight side AS Trencin after making his debut season in Europe with Armenian side FC Ararat last season.

 

Akila Jesse scored 9 goals in the 2021/22 NPFL season that earned him a move to Armenian side FC Ararat.

 

AS Trencin’s biggest success so far was winning the national title in the 2014–15 season and reaching second place in the 2013–14 season and will hope that Akila can bring them success this season.

Jesse Akila will not be alone as he has Nigerian company in both Hilary Gong and Sunday Jude as teammates.

 

AS Trencin’s previous match was against FC STK 1914 Samorín in Club Friendly Games, the match ended with result 3 – 4 (AS Trencin won the match).
