The Bet9ja Foundation Triple Slam (BFTS), set for Saturday, April 20, has garnered significant interest, with over a dozen packs from various tertiary institutions in Ekiti confirming their participation.

This unique event, conceived by Mr. Bayo Olanlege, former Chairman of Ekiti State Football Association and CEO of Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited, seamlessly blends sports and entertainment, featuring rap music, dance, and basketball. Embraced enthusiastically by Ekiti’s youth and beyond, the event promises an engaging fusion of talents.

Confirmed packs for the event, slated to kick off at 10:00 am at Afe Babalola University Sports Center, Ado Ekiti, include Invaders of Government Technology College Ikole, DCrushers EKSU, Top Ballers EKSU, River Dragon EKSU, Timber Wolves Federal Polytechnic Ado, and BOESTI Titans. Additionally, EKSU Phantom Warriors, Black Knight Wolves, Federal Polytechnic Ado, Phantom Wolves, The Wolves Hoopers, and Rim Rockers from Ondo State are set to compete.

Participants, comprising men and women rappers, dancers, and basketball players aged 18 and above, will showcase their skills.

Olanlege emphasizes that the event aims to elevate Ekiti’s sports and entertainment sectors, positioning the state as a hub of talent and attracting attention from around the world.

Sponsored by the Bet9ja Foundation, this event promises to be a vibrant celebration of athleticism and artistry.
