In a move aimed at enhancing efficiency and achieving greater heights, Plateau United FC has appointed Ibrahim Title as the new Team Manager, replacing Abel Iliya.
The announcement was made by General Manager Habila Hosea Mutla during a meeting with the players and technical team yesterday, 26th of June, 2024 at the New Stadium in Jos.
The General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, expressed confidence in Ibrahim Title’s ability to contribute to the team’s success. “We are pleased to have Ibrahim on board. His experience and expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals.”
The General Manager thanked Abel Iliya for the services he had rendered to the club over the years amidst best wishes for the future.
Ibrahim Title, a seasoned football administrator and former Chairman of Mangu FA was a former congress member of the Plateau Football Association. As a player, he played and captained Super Dynamos of Mangu and won the Plateau State Governor’s Cup twice. He is a graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Title brings a wealth of experience to the role. His appointment marks a new era for Plateau United FC, as the team seeks to build on their fifth-place finish in the NPFL24 season. “I am excited to take on this new challenge,” said Ibrahim Title.
Recall that Ibrahim Title before this appointment led Plateau United U17 team to Lafia in The NPFLU17 Tournament as the coordinator of the team and the senior team.
As the team embarks on a three-week break, Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut advised the players to ensure they get enough rest to enhance recuperation ahead of next season’s challenges amidst charges to ensure that their weight levels are kept in check to enhance quick integration to pre- season routines.
Mbwas thanked the players for their commitment throughout the season and wished them well ahead of next season.
