FOXBOX: Thank you for joining us today. You’ve had a diverse career, playing for various European clubs, with your most recent stint being at Bnei Yehuda in Israel, how did you enjoy your time there, and what was your relationship with your teammates, management, and fans?
Aliyu Ya’u Adam: Thank you! My time at Bnei Yehuda was exceptional. I enjoyed every moment on and off the pitch. The teammates I had there were incredible; we formed a close bond, and that camaraderie helped us push through tough matches. The management was also very supportive, always ensuring we had everything we needed to succeed. And the fans? They were passionate and always behind us, whether we were at home or away. I felt their love and support from day one.
FOXBOX: That sounds amazing. Playing in Israel must have had its challenges, especially in terms of adapting to the weather and the environment. How did you cope?
ALIYU YA’U ADAM: It was definitely a changeover, especially coming from other parts of Europe. The weather in Israel can be intense, with hot summers and mild winters, but I adapted quickly. It’s all part of being a professional—you have to adjust to different conditions and environments wherever you go. The club provided us with the necessary resources, and after a few weeks, I was fully acclimated. I actually began to enjoy the warmer climate as it brought a different kind of energy to the games.
FOXBOX: If you find yourself at another club in the future, what do you think you can contribute to that team?
ALIYU YA’U ADAM: I believe I can bring a lot to any club I join. My experience across different leagues and countries has taught me how to adapt quickly and work well in diverse teams. I bring leadership both on and off the field, a strong work ethic, and a winning mentality. I’m also a player who values teamwork, and I make sure to connect well with my teammates. Most importantly, I’m always eager to improve and give my best to help the club achieve its goals. I’m confident that wherever I go, I can make a positive impact.
