The newly elected Deputy Chairman of Jos North Local Government Area, Hon. Kabiru Muhammad Garkuwa, was hosted and blessed by the Chief Imam of Jos Central Mosque, Sheikh Garzali Ismail Adam, and his deputy after the Jumu’ah prayers. The spiritual gathering took place shortly after the prayers, where blessings were invoked for Hon. Garkuwa and his colleague, Hon. JK Chris, who were both recently elected.

Sheikh Garzali Ismail Adam led the prayer, asking for divine success in their administration. He urged them to be impartial and serve the people of Jos North with fairness, cautioning them against harboring any form of bias or sentiments in their governance. Sheikh Shariff Nasir Alfaki, the Deputy Chief Imam, also advised Hon. Garkuwa to remain true to his word and maintain honesty and integrity throughout his tenure. He emphasized the importance of fulfilling promises and being a straightforward leader.

Additionally, Sheikh Mustafa Aliyu Gwarando, the murshid (spiritual leader) of the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) Jos North Chapter, prayed for Hon. Garkuwa’s success and advised both leaders to foster unity and peace among the diverse communities of Jos North.
