In the first game, Nile University and Plateau Peaks went head-to-head in a contest that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Although Nile University played with grit and determination, the Peaks took control in the fourth quarter, securing a 64–56 victory. Plateau Peaks’ defense and well-executed plays gave them the edge, allowing them to stay undefeated in the league so far.
The clash between Nigeria Customs and Gombe Bulls was perhaps the most intense game of the day, coming down to the final seconds. Customs fought valiantly, determined to overcome the Bulls’ pressure, but Gombe held strong and snatched a narrow victory with a final score of 70–69. The Bulls’ ability to make clutch plays in the dying moments ensured a memorable win and a boost to their standing in the league.
Kano Pillars displayed dominant form in their game against the Bauchi Nets, securing a comfortable 95–64 victory. With impeccable shooting, powerful rebounding, and tight defense, the Pillars controlled the game from start to finish, leaving Bauchi Nets struggling to keep up. The Pillars’ commanding performance further solidified their position as one of the league’s top teams.
Lastly, Gboko City Chiefs and Nigeria Correctional faced off in a match where the Chiefs emerged as clear victors, finishing with a score of 77–55. Gboko City’s cohesive teamwork and impressive scoring made them a formidable opponent, and despite Nigeria Correctional’s best efforts, they couldn’t match the Chiefs’ pace and precision.
