The stage is set for the official draw ceremony of the 9th Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup, scheduled to hold on Monday, 15th September 2025, at the Amdo Adore Event Centre, Kaltungo, by 11:00 am.
According to the Main Organising Committee, two representatives from each registered club, alongside invited football stakeholders, will be present at the event that will determine fixtures for what promises to be another thrilling edition of the prestigious grassroots football tournament.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony, the Director of Media and Communication for the tournament, Mark Malele, highlighted the significance of the competition, noting its impact on youth and community development.
“The Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup has, over the years, provided a platform for young talents to showcase their skills while promoting peace and discovering talents across Gombe South. This year’s edition promises even more excitement and opportunities for our youths,” Malele said.
The draws come on the heels of last month’s press conference, which flagged off activities for the tournament. Organisers have extended an open invitation to registered clubs, the media, football lovers, and the general public to be part of the occasion, as anticipation builds towards kickoff.
