Refusing to be deterred, Plateau United regained the lead in the 75th minute when Gideon once again rose highest to head home from Kazeem’s precise corner kick—securing a deserved and memorable victory for the Jos-based side.

Speaking after the match, Head Coach Coach Shola commended his players for their fighting spirit and commitment, while noting areas that still require improvement.
“I’m proud of the team’s character and resilience. We’ll keep working hard to be more clinical in open play and maintain this positive momentum,” he said.
In his post-match reaction, Coach Eguma of Enyimba described the result as “a tough one to take,” admitting that his team “struggled to cope with Plateau United’s aerial strength,” which proved decisive in the contest.
